Caroline Cole has a doctorate in Writing Across the Curriculum from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, with specialization in business and technical writing. Since 1997, she has been teaching expository and professional communication courses at the University of California, Berkeley. In 2003, she founded Ethos Professional Communication, offering workshops, seminars, and consulting services to individuals and organizations.
